The Ciena 133-1ME1-A23 is the 23-inch-wide ONLINE Metro main chassis with a 23-slot capacity, designed to host ONLINE Metro line cards in metropolitan optical networks. It ships with two Power/Alarm modules (2x PWR/Alarm) to provide redundant power and status monitoring for critical deployments. As the main shelf in an ONLINE Metro deployment, the 133-1ME1-A23 represents the 23-inch configuration in Ciena’s ONLINE Metro main-shelf lineup, which also includes a 23V vertical shelf and a 19V shelf.
