Description:
The Cisco 15454-32-WSS is a 32-channel Wavelength Selective Switch module for the Cisco ONS 15454 Optical Transport System, enabling dynamic optical wavelength routing and switching in DWDM networks. As a ROADM component installed in the chassis, it provides 32 DWDM channels and uses DWDM fiber interfaces to support flexible wavelength management in carrier-grade telecom infrastructure. It is commonly deployed in telecom carrier networks, metro fiber networks, data center interconnects, and long-haul optical transport deployments where scalable bandwidth distribution and on-demand wavelength routing are required.
