DESCRIPTION
The Cisco ASA 5540 Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA5540-BUN-K9) is a high-performance, rack-mounted firewall solution designed for medium to large businesses and service providers. It offers four Gigabit Ethernet ports, one Fast Ethernet port, and comes standard with licenses for 5,000 IPsec VPN peers and two SSL VPN peers (upgradeable). It supports high availability configurations (Active/Active or Active/Standby), up to 200 VLANs, and modular upgrades via Security Services Modules (SSM).
