Cisco ASR1000-ESP200 Embedded Services Processor

The Cisco ASR1000-ESP200 Embedded Services Processor delivers up to 200 Gbps system throughput for high-performance packet processing and traffic forwarding inside Cisco ASR 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers. Built on the Cisco QuantumFlow Processor (QFP) architecture, it integrates QoS, traffic management, and security services to support high-volume routing, traffic inspection, and advanced network service processing in carrier-grade networks, data center edge networks, and ISP backbone infrastructures. It is a compatible platform within the Cisco ASR 1000 Series and functions as a dedicated packet processing and traffic forwarding engine. This is an internal modular processor card with a router service processor module form factor, designed for installation inside the chassis and relying on system chassis cooling to maintain performance. It runs Cisco IOS XE operating system for management and control. Common replacements include the ASR1000-ESP100, ASR1000-ESP40, and ASR1000-ESP10.
