The Cisco C3850-NM-2-40G Network Module provides two 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ uplinks for Cisco Catalyst 3850 switches, delivering high-bandwidth fiber connections for enterprise campus core and distribution layers and data-center aggregation. As a hot-swappable plug-in module in the Catalyst 3850’s modular uplink slot, it features 2x QSFP+ ports with 40 Gbps per port (QSFP+ interface) and requires QSFP+ transceivers for fiber connectivity, with compatibility across Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series Switches.
