The Cisco ISR3825-K9-SEC Integrated Services Router provides secure WAN routing, integrated IPsec VPN, firewall protection, and voice services for enterprise branch networks in a rack-mountable Cisco 3800-series platform. It features 1 GB DRAM and 256 MB Compact Flash, with 2 × 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports and modular expansion slots for HWIC, NME, AIM, and PVDM to add interfaces and services. Operating on Cisco IOS 15.1, it supports VPN, firewall protection, access control lists, and intrusion prevention; management is via CLI and SNMP with Cisco network management tools. This router is commonly deployed in corporate offices, retail locations, and remote enterprise sites requiring secure WAN connectivity and integrated services such as VoIP, and it can replace ISR4321/K9, ISR4331/K9, or ISR4351/K9 models.
