Cisco NM-1GE Gigabit Ethernet Network Interface Module

The Cisco NM-1GE Gigabit Ethernet Network Module adds a single RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port to select Cisco Integrated Services Routers, delivering expanded Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and scalable interface capacity for high-speed network communication. It is designed for the Cisco 2800 and 3800 ISR families and is compatible with Cisco 2811, 2821, 2851, 3825, and 3845 routers, installing internally as a Network Module to augment routing capability without external hardware changes. The module supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet over a standard RJ-45 connector, provides one dedicated port, and enables connections to high-speed LAN switches, network backbones, or service provider links, making it suitable for enterprise branch networks and WAN edge infrastructures.
