DESCRIPTION:
The Cisco QSFP-40G-CSR4 is a 40 Gigabit Ethernet QSFP+ transceiver module designed for short-reach data center and campus backbone connections. It uses an MPO connector and transmits over multimode fiber (MMF) with reach up to 300 meters on OM3 and 400 meters on OM4 fiber using 12-fiber parallel cables. This transceiver enables cost-effective, high-density 40G connectivity with support for break-out into 4x10G links using an MPO-to-4xLC breakout cable.
