Description:
The Cisco WS-C2960CG-8TC-L is a compact Layer 2 Ethernet switch designed for edge connectivity in space-constrained enterprise networks. It offers 8 x 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet ports plus 2 dual-purpose uplink ports, delivering up to 20 Gbps of switching capacity and a forwarding rate of 14.9 Mpps. Running the LAN Base software, it supports IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging, 802.1X authentication, port security, and access control lists, with management available via CLI, SNMP, and Cisco network management tools; the unit is powered by an external adapter and can be desktop- or wall-mounted for flexible placement.
