Cisco WS-C3650-12X48UR-L is a fixed-configuration Catalyst 3650 switch in a 1U chassis that combines 48 UPOE-enabled downlink ports with eight flexible uplinks for campus access and distribution. It runs the LAN Base feature set and supports stacking via StackWise-160, enabling scalable deployments across racks or rooms. On the downlink side, all 48 ports provide Cisco UPOE power to connected devices—ideal for wireless access points, IP phones, and cameras—while the eight uplink ports deliver high-speed connectivity to the distribution layer or core, configured as either 8x10-Gigabit Ethernet with SFP+ or 8x Gigabit Ethernet with SFP depending on SKU.
