Cisco WS-C3850-48F-L Gigabit Ethernet PoE Switch

The Cisco WS-C3850-48F-L Catalyst switch is a managed Layer 3 Ethernet switch built for enterprise campus networks, delivering high-density PoE+ power and robust routing performance for access-layer deployments. It provides 48 PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet ports (IEEE 802.3af/at) with an installed C3850-NM-2-10G network module, offering 2 × 10 Gb/s SFP+ uplinks for fast aggregation. With up to 176 Gbps of switching capacity and a forwarding rate of up to 130.95 Mpps, it supports VLAN segmentation, centralized management, and high-speed interconnect between network infrastructure devices. The device runs the LAN Base software feature set, supports Cisco StackWise-480 for scalable stacking, and is powered by dual modular power supplies in a rack-mountable chassis. Manageability is provided through CLI, SNMP, and Cisco network management tools, making it suitable for connecting wireless access points, VoIP phones, surveillance systems, and other PoE-enabled endpoints in corporate offices, campuses, healthcare facilities, and government buildings.
