Cisco WS-C4500X-32SFP is a Catalyst 4500-X fixed-architecture Layer 3 Ethernet switch that provides 32 native 10-Gigabit SFP+ ports in a 1U chassis, ideal for high-density campus or data-center aggregation. It ships with IP Base software, supports IPv4 routing in hardware up to 250 Mpps, and offers up to 800 Gbps of system throughput to enable scalable inter-VLAN routing and fast traffic handoff between uplinks. The unit uses front-to-back airflow and supports flexible power configurations, including two AC inputs, two DC inputs, or one of each for redundancy in mission-critical deployments; an optional C4KX-NM-8SFP+ expansion module adds eight additional 10G SFP+ ports if you need more uplink capacity. As part of the Catalyst 4500-X family, it is designed to work with standard 10G optics and Cisco expansion modules, providing a modular path to higher port density when needed.
