Cisco WS-X2922-XL-V 2-Port 100BaseFX ISL Switch Module

Cisco WS-X2922-XL-V is a Catalyst 2900 XL series two-port 100Base-FX ISL/802.1Q switch module that slots into compatible chassis to provide fiber uplinks between switches. It supplies two 100Base-FX fiber ports with SC connectors for multimode fiber, enabling ISL/802.1Q trunking between supported Catalyst switches. ISL and 802.1Q trunking support enables VLAN tagging on trunk links, helping segment traffic across campus networks. Designed for Catalyst models WS-C2912-XL, WS-C2924-XL, WS-C2924C-XL, and WS-C2924M-XL, the module supports trunked links across campus or distribution networks and supports distances up to 2 kilometers on multimode fiber. This module extends the Catalyst 2900 XL family’s fiber trunking capability, delivering reliable fast-fiber connectivity for VLANed networks that rely on ISL or 802.1Q trunking.
