Cisco WS-X4748-12X48UE is a Catalyst 4500E Series line card that delivers dense, PoE-enabled copper access alongside multigigabit connectivity in a single module. It provides 48 RJ-45 ports: 12 Multigigabit ports and 36 standard 10/100/1000BASE-T ports. The 36 RJ-45 ports support 802.3af PoE, 802.3at PoEP, and UPOE, enabling power delivery to IP phones, wireless access points, and other PoE devices without external power injectors. Designed for use with Cisco Catalyst 4500E switches, the WS-X4748-12X48UE plugs into the chassis with the appropriate supervisor engine, offering a mix of high-speed multigigabit connectivity and high-density PoE at the access layer.
