Cisco XFP10GER-192IR-L is a low-power, multirate XFP transceiver module that supports 10GBASE-ER/-EW and OC-192/STM-64 IR-2 Packet-over-SONET/SDH (POS) links over single-mode fiber. Designed for SMF, it uses a 1550 nm wavelength and dual LC connectors, enabling up to 10 Gbps and reach up to 40 km in typical ER/IR-2 configurations. The module consumes about 2.5 W of power and employs an XFP form factor compatible with Cisco platforms that accept XFP optics.
