Control Techniques STDU04 Resolver Feedback Module (SM-Resolver Issue 02.00) is a plug-in resolver feedback interface for AC drive systems that delivers resolver-based speed and position data to Control Techniques Uni-drive SP drives for closed-loop motor control. It is designed for rugged industrial environments and is commonly installed in Uni-drive SP variable frequency drives, servo systems, machine tools, printing presses, and other industrial automation equipment where resolver feedback provides reliable performance in high-temperature, high‑vibration, or contaminated settings. Key specifications include support for 2, 4, 6, and 8 pole resolvers, resolver input impedance greater than 85 Ω at 6 kHz, and turns ratio support of 2:1 and 3:1; it outputs 6 kHz sine‑wave excitation with excitation voltages of 4 VAC or 6 VAC RMS (depending on resolver ratio) and a resolver input voltage of 2 VAC RMS.
