Cooper Bussmann LPJ-100SP Current-Limiting Fuse
Cooper Bussmann LPJ-100SP Current-Limiting Fuse
Description:
LPJ-100SP is a 100 A, 600 VAC / 300 VDC dual-element current-limiting fuse from Bussmann's Low-Peak LPJ Class J family, designed for time-delay protection of loads with inrush currents. As a dual-element device, it combines separate overload and short-circuit elements to control nuisance tripping while delivering fast interruption during a short-circuit event. This non-indicating, cartridge-body fuse carries UL Class J ratings and a low-peak profile to help minimize let-through energy in sensitive circuits, with interrupting ratings up to 300 kA at 600 VAC and 100 kA at 300 VDC. The LPJ-100SP is suitable for protection in industrial power-distribution and control applications where reliable, coordinated protection is required for equipment such as transformers and motors, and where the line-side fusing must tolerate short inrush without tripping. Variants exist with indicating capability by adding the I suffix, such as LPJ-100SPI, as documented in Bussmann LPJ product literature.
