The Omron E2K-X4MF1 capacitive proximity sensor, part of the E2K Series, provides reliable non-contact detection of metal and non-metal objects at a 4 mm sensing distance (±10%). Housed in a cylindrical M12 threaded body, this unshielded device uses a 3-wire PNP normally open output and operates on 12–24 V DC (10–30 V DC range) with a 100 Hz response frequency.
