Appleton by Emerson ECDB50B is a dust-ignitionproof, raintight universal drain or breather for hazardous-location conduit systems; the 1/2 in trade-size unit uses MNPT threads (male-to-male) and features a stainless-steel body with a plain finish. Measuring about 5-1/2 inches overall, it threads onto the bottom of conduit fittings to drain moisture while a top breather vent handles airflow, helping prevent condensation in demanding environments. It carries Class I, Division 1 and 2 (Groups B, C, D), Class II, Division 1 and 2 (Groups E, F, G), and Class III ratings, making it suitable for explosionproof installations in hazardous locations.
