Description:
The Emerson White-Rodgers 90-T40M3 is a Class 2, 40 VA control transformer that steps line voltage down to a stable 24 VAC for low-voltage HVAC control circuits. It accepts 120/208/240 VAC input at 50/60 Hz and delivers up to 1.67 A on the secondary, making it suitable for thermostats, relays, gas valves, contactors, and HVAC controls in furnaces, air handlers, refrigeration systems, rooftop units, and industrial control panels. With lead-wired primary and secondary connections and a multi-mount/foot mount design, it is built for continuous-duty operation in residential and commercial HVAC environments. Common replacements include the Honeywell AT140A1000 transformer.
