Ericsson NTHW31AC13 Network Interface Module is a 16-port OC-3/STM-1 ATM interface module designed for Ericsson and Nortel Passport MSS 15000/20000 carrier-grade multiservice switching systems. It provides sixteen OC-3/STM-1 single-mode optical interfaces for high-density ATM connectivity, delivering 155.52 Mbps per port with LC connectors. The module is intended for chassis mounting in telecommunications equipment rooms and data centers, delivering optical network connectivity for carrier and telecommunications networks. Applications include backbone telecom networks, service provider transport, broadband aggregation, and other scenarios requiring dense OC-3/STM-1 ATM links. The Passport MSS 15000/20000 series environment integrates this module for replacement, expansion, upgrade, or restoration of legacy carrier infrastructure.
