Fotek Electronics MF-06R Photoelectric Switch

The Fotek MF-06R Photoelectric Switch is a compact diffuse-reflective infrared sensor designed for object detection and position sensing in industrial automation systems. It operates on 12 to 24 VDC with an NPN open-collector output and a response time of ≤1 ms, delivering up to 60 mm sensing distance for fast, non-contact detection. The unit uses an infrared LED as the light source and includes Power and Output LED indicators for status, while its ABS plastic housing is IP66-rated for harsh manufacturing environments. Mounting is screw-based, and the pre-wired cable is approximately 2 m long; the operating temperature range is -25°C to +55°C with 35%–85% RH, suitable for conveyors, packaging equipment, counting and sorting systems, and other factory automation applications. Common replacements include Omron E3Z-D61 Photoelectric Sensor, Au-tonics BR100-DDT Photoelectric Switch, and Panasonic CX-421 Photoelectric Sensor.
