Foxboro 83W-D04S1SSRJA-B is a 4-inch wafer-bodied vortex flowmeter in the I/A Series family, designed to measure liquids, gases, or steam with a 4 to 20 mA analog output and a pulse output for flow rate. It supports direct digital connectivity to Foxboro I/A Series controllers via FoxCom, enabling remote interrogation and configuration. The 83W family offers a measurement range up to 100:1 and a maximum process temperature rating up to 430°C (800°F) depending on installation, with wetted bodies available in Hastelloy C or stainless steel. This flowmeter is offered in wafer and flanged configurations to suit pipe sizes from 15 mm to 200 mm (wafer) or 15 mm to 300 mm (flanged), providing broad compatibility across plant layouts.
