Gems Sensors & Controls LS3 Float Level Switch

The Gems Sensors & Controls LS3 Float Level Switch is a compact vertical-mount sensor designed to reliably monitor liquid levels in tanks, reservoirs, and process vessels and trigger pump control or alarms. It uses a magnetic reed switch (SPST NO/NC depending on float orientation) with a 1/8 in NPT mounting thread, and is available with polypropylene, Buna-N, or polysulfone float materials and polypropylene or engineered plastic stems; electrical connections are PVC cable or flying leads, and the housing carries an IP64 protection rating. Electrical characteristics include a maximum switching voltage of 240 VAC and a 50 VA maximum switch rating, with a maximum pressure rating ranging from 15 PSI to 150 PSI depending on configuration, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +100°C (depending on configuration). Common applications include sump pumps, condensate systems, coolant reservoirs, chemical tanks, lubrication systems, and water storage in industrial fluid handling and process systems.
