General Electric 7012ACM Time Delay Relay 120 Volt AC
General Electric 7012ACM Time Delay Relay 120 Volt AC
Description:
The Agastat 7012ACM Time Delay Relay is an AC-operated on-delay timer from the Agastat 7000-series, designed for sequencing and interlock tasks in control panels; when powered by 120 VAC, it initiates a precise delay of 1.5 to 15 seconds before its outputs switch. The device provides two Form C (DPDT-CO) contacts, rated up to 10 A, enabling both poles of an AC load to be switched, and its chassis-mount package is specified for operation up to 75°C. As an on-delay (delay-on-pickup) relay, the timing starts on energization of the coil and completes after the adjustable interval, allowing designers to coordinate start-up sequences, interlocks, and timed signaling in industrial equipment. Typical applications include motor-start sequencing, stepwise control of conveyors, and safety interlock logic, where a reliable 1.5–15 s delay at 120 VAC helps prevent nuisance starts and ensures proper timing across related control circuits.
