The Hewlett Packard Enterprise AJ941A Disk Enclosure is a 25-bay, 2U SAS storage expansion unit designed to scale enterprise storage arrays in data centers and server environments. It houses 25x 2.5-inch SFF drives and uses a SAS interface with dual SAS ports for host connections, plus daisy-chain expansion to link multiple enclosures. Redundancy is built in with dual I/O modules, dual power supplies, and redundant fan modules, and it is compatible with HPE ProLiant and StorageWorks systems for applications such as data archiving, virtualization, and backup. Common replacements include HPE D3600, D3700, and MSA 2050 Expansion Shelf.
