The Hewlett Packard Enterprise JL479A Aruba CX 8320 switch is a 48-port 1/10 GbE SFP/SFP+ access device with six 40 GbE QSFP+ uplinks, designed for high-performance Layer 2/3 switching in data centers and enterprise core networks. Powered by ArubaOS-CX with distributed switching, it delivers up to 2.5 Tbps of switching capacity and 1900+ Mpps of throughput, with dual hot-swappable power supplies and five fan trays included for redundancy and reliability. This 1U rack-mounted unit is well suited for campus cores, aggregation tiers, data centers, and top-of-rack deployments requiring 10 GbE server connections and 40 GbE uplinks, and it supports BGP, OSPF, VRF, VXLAN, and EVPN; common replacements include Aruba CX 8325, 8360, and 6300 series.
