HMS Industrial Networks AB7000-C Anybus Communicator Profibus Slave

The AB7000-C Anybus Communicator is a PROFIBUS DP Slave gateway that lets an RS-232/RS-485 serial device communicate on a PROFIBUS network by translating serial master traffic into PROFIBUS DP commands. On the PROFIBUS side it functions as a slave, enabling seamless integration of non-networked serial equipment with PROFIBUS controllers. The unit is designed for DIN-rail mounting (EN 50022) and provides two DB9 connectors: one for the serial interface to the attached device and one for the PROFIBUS network. It features two rotary address selectors to set the PROFIBUS node address and it is built with PC-ABS housing rated to UL 94 for rugged industrial environments.
