ChemStar 165LA 1 lb FNFB braided packing is a graphite-filled PTFE fiber packing designed for shaft sealing in rotating equipment such as valves, agitators, mixers, driers, and refiners operating in corrosive or chemically aggressive services. It uses an interlock braided construction with 100% GFO graphite-filled PTFE fiber, delivering high thermal conductivity and chemical resistance while remaining flexible and avoiding hardening, swelling, or brittleness. Rated up to 550°F (285°C), it handles a pH range of 0–14, speeds up to 4300 FPM, and pressures up to 300 psi (20 bar). This 1 lb FNFB pack is suitable for corrosives, chemicals, solvents, water, steam, gases, air, ammonia, oils, liquor, paper stock, and condensate, and is part of ChemStar’s marine shaft packing lineage with ABS approval and use by the U.S. Navy.
