DEVAR's 18-215A-M37A is a rugged two‑wire temperature transmitter that converts thermocouple or millivolt (mV) signals into a 4–20 mA current output for remote process control. It is designed for hazardous locations and is available in explosion‑proof M37A housing (with an optional M37I window version) or a standard aluminum enclosure, supporting versatile field installations. As part of the Mini‑Pak family, the unit provides input/output isolation and RF protection, ensuring the output current remains proportional to the sensed input while keeping the signal path isolated from power and ambient interference. The transmitter accepts direct input from mV sensors or thermocouples and translates those measurements into a loop‑powered current suitable for reading by PLCs, DCS, or data‑acquisition systems without requiring local power at the sensor.
