ROSS Controls 1969A5002 HOZE-FUZE is a 3/4-inch, female-to-female safety shut-off valve for pneumatic hose systems that automatically reduces airflow after a hose failure to limit hose whip. It features an aluminum body and a Hostalen piston, is rated for a maximum pressure of 260 PSI (17 bar) and a temperature range from -4°F to 275°F (-20°C to 135°C), and is intended for use with non-corrosive, non-flammable, non-hazardous gases. After a hose failure, a small pilot flow escapes to atmosphere and the valve remains in a reduced-flow state until the air supply is shut off to reset.
