Industrial 2-L-110-120-220 Liquid Level Control Switch

BW Controls 2-L Liquid Level Control Switch is an industrial, two-electrode, two-wire level-control relay designed for automatic pump control in conductive liquids. It is powered from a 110–120 V line supply and uses a 220 V secondary coil for the sensing circuit, with electrodes installed in the tank at the defined start and stop levels; for metal tanks, a ground electrode is recommended, and 18 AWG or larger THW conductors are advised for electrode wiring. The unit is intended for BW’s two-wire control configurations, and for higher-current loads a magnetic starter is recommended to handle the load. In typical installations, one electrode detects the start level while the other signals the stop level, allowing the relay to switch the associated pump or load accordingly, with the sensing circuit running through the liquid to monitor conductivity. BW literature also notes safe grounding practices and general uses in pump-control applications across tanks, wells, and sumps containing conductive liquids.
