Chemiquip 25BE pressure snubber is a brass-bodied, porous-element pulsation dampener with a ¼" NPT male to ¼" NPT female connection, built to shield pressure instruments from hydraulic and pneumatic shocks. The model designation 25BE denotes a 25B family snubber with E porosity, offering a 1.5" overall length, a ¾" hex, and an approximate 2 oz. net weight, and it is rated for a maximum pressure of 10,000 psi. Its porous disc provides about 10 micron porosity (porosity designation E) to filter solids from the actuating fluid while smoothing pressure impulses, making it suitable for water and light oils (30 to 225 S.S.U.). Typical applications include dampening pulsations from reciprocating pumps and protecting gauges, transducers, and other instrumentation in high-impulse hydraulic or pneumatic systems, thereby extending instrument life and delivering steadier readings.
