AMOT Model 4064B21A differential pressure valve is a pressure-sensing valve that vents pressure from port A to port B when the preset differential is reached, providing a safe, mechanical signal for shutdown or alarm logic in industrial systems. The rugged Gulfproofed anodized cast-aluminum body houses steel and aluminum internals, Viton valve seats and seals, a Viton or Buna N diaphragm, and a stainless steel piston, designed for reliable service in demanding environments. Sensing lines connect via 1/4" O.D. tubing, and port A can see up to 80 psi (5.5 bar); the unit weighs about 5.5 lb (2.5 kg) and mounts on the back with two 3/8"-16 tapped holes, with the vent typically at the bottom. When the differential is reached, pressure entering port A is vented to port B, enabling applications such as gas-compressor safety shutdowns or monitoring differential pressure across a filter to indicate clogging.
