Industrial 5136-DNP-ISA DeviceNet Interface Card

The SST 5136-DNP-ISA DeviceNet Pro Interface Card is a half-length ISA bus interface that connects a PC or industrial controller to a DeviceNet/CAN 2.0 network, enabling DeviceNet communications from legacy systems. It features a 16 MHz V40 microprocessor, a 16K shared host memory window, and software-selectable base memory addresses and interrupts (IRQ options include 2, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, or 15). The card supports CAN 2.0 A/B with DeviceNet data rates at 125, 250, and 500 Kbaud, and can operate at speeds up to 1 Mbaud on CAN, providing flexible network timing for various DeviceNet deployments. Power is delivered from the ISA bus (5V ±5%, 750 mA) with an external 11–24 VDC supply for the CAN side (50 mA), and the interface includes a DeviceNet compatible 5-pin CAN connector plus an optically isolated CAN interface and a 500 V isolation barrier. The Unit includes a DeviceNet compatible network status indicator and supports connection to non-powered (three-wire) CAN networks when an external supply is present. Environmental specs list 0 °C to 50 °C operating temperature and 5% to 90% non-condensing humidity, with storage ranging -40 °C to 85 °C.
