Industrial 6FR1-6 Ferromagnetic Actuated Reed Proximity Switch

Pepperl+Fuchs 6FR1-6 is a one-piece ferromagnetic actuated reed proximity switch that detects ferrous metal through nonferrous metal using a magnetic field sensor. It uses a normally open reed contact with a rated operating distance of 19.1 mm and is housed in a rugged, single-piece enclosure suitable for harsh industrial environments. The switch is rated for switched voltages up to 280 VAC or 400 VDC, operates from -20 °C to 83 °C, and offers about 50 million switching cycles of mechanical life, with IP68 protection for dust and water ingress. Variants are available with a 1.83 m PVC cable for wiring or with no cable termination, depending on configuration.
