The STI 70027-1000 LCC-FB-AC1-U Light Curtain Controller is a dedicated safety controller for STI light curtain systems, providing centralized monitoring and control of protective devices in industrial automation. This unit (LCC-FB-AC1-U) accepts 24 VDC power and exposes two safety-related OSSD outputs for monitoring the light curtain circuit, plus auxiliary and lamp outputs for status signaling. It supports STI safety functions including interlock with reset-hold, external device monitoring (EDM), muting/override, and both fixed and floating blanking, along with external test, reset, and mute inputs for flexible integration. The enclosure is rated for harsh environments (IP65, IP67, IP67G, IP69K) with a rugged aluminum case, PMMA front cover, and polycarbonate end caps, and is designed to operate from -30 to 60 C with 35–85% relative humidity (non-condensing).
