Industrial 8536SC01 Magnetic AC Starter NEMA Size 1 24V Coil

Square D 8536SC01 Type S magnetic AC starter, NEMA Size 1, with a 24V coil, is a compact motor-control device used to automatically start and stop AC motors in industrial control panels. As part of Schneider Electric's Square D 8536 family, it provides rugged magnetic switching for motor circuits and is compatible with overload-relay accessories that protect motors from fault conditions. The 24V coil configuration makes it easy to integrate with standard low-voltage control systems—pushbuttons, relays, or PLC outputs can energize or de-energize the coil to control the motor. With a Size 1 form factor, the 8536SC01 is designed to fit compact control enclosures while delivering reliable performance in light-to-moderate-duty motor control tasks common in manufacturing, packaging, and process equipment. The Type S lineup is known for straightforward wiring, robust mechanicals, and a long service life in industrial environments, making the 8536SC01 a common choice for new installations or for replacing older Square D starters.
