Industrial AC-5-R30-1P Air Cooled Heat Exchanger

The American Industrial AC-5-R30-1P Air Cooled Heat Exchanger is a compact, single-pass oil cooler in AIHTI’s AC Series designed to remove heat from hydraulic and lubrication fluids in industrial equipment. The model name denotes a 1-pass configuration (1P) with a 30 psi bypass option (R30), and the unit is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 300 psi and temperatures up to 300°F. It measures 14.81 in wide by 11.81 in high, with standard NPT connections for easy integration (the series also supports SAE, ANSI and flange options). Core components include copper tubes, aluminum fins, steel turbulators, and a steel manifold, driven by an aluminum fan blade with steel, all powered by a single-phase electric motor. The AC Series is rated for up to 100 HP of cooling and supports 2–120 GPM of oil flow, making it suitable for cooling fluid power systems, hydraulic presses, machine tools, lubrication systems, gear drives, and torque converters. Optional features include a 30 psi bypass to protect the core during cold starts or low-flow conditions, and the core is serviceable for maintenance.
