Description:

AcuAMP ACS200 Series AC Current Switch, a split-core sensor designed to monitor a single conductor and trigger an isolated solid-state output when the current reaches a user-set trip point from 1.75 A to 200 A. The unit uses a hinged split-core that clamps around one conductor and provides a selectable sensing range (1.75-6 A, 6-40 A, or 40-200 A) depending on model, with the trip point adjustable from about 1.75 A up to 200 A via a compact four-turn potentiometer. Output is a normally open or normally closed solid-state switch, selectable by model, suitable for control circuits and PLC inputs; AC versions commonly provide up to 1 A at 240 VAC for NO configurations, while NC configurations are typically rated around 0.2 A at 135 VAC (or 240 VAC) depending on variant. Designed for AC mains monitoring in applications such as motor or pump protection, fans, or HVAC equipment, the AcuAMP switch offers reliable, isolated actuation without introducing a separate sensing coil or burden on the monitored load, enabling straightforward integration with standard automation hardware.
