The ADV1487-4-30 is American Dynamics’ four-channel monochrome simplex CCTV multiplexer that consolidates four camera inputs into a single output for live monitoring and archival recording. It provides bidirectional RS-232 control for remote management and alarms, includes vSync-based time synchronization with compatible VCRs, and uses Dynamic Time Division to allocate more frames to active cameras while still allowing live display of individual feeds. Variants include the base ADV1487-4-30 (EIA/NTSC) with RV1004a-30 and SMV104p-30, and CCIR (PAL) variants ADV1487-4-30-1, RV1004a-30-1, SMV104p-30-1.
