The Mersen (Ferraz Shawmut) AJT30 Amp-Trap 2000 is a Class J, time-delay fuse rated for 600 VAC and 500 VDC with a 30 A nominal rating, designed for motor starts, transformers, mains, feeders, lighting, and general loads that generate inrush currents. It carries an interrupting rating of up to 200 kA (AC) and 100 kA (DC), and uses ferrule terminals with a compact 13/16 in diameter and 2-1/4 in length body for tight panel fits. The AJT30 is available in both non-indicating and indicating (SmartSpot) variants, providing a quick visual status cue of the fuse’s condition, and is UL 198L, UL 248-8, and CSA C22.2 listed for low-voltage power distribution use.
