Industrial AK FSW-6 Limit Switch

The AK FSW-6 is a compact, mercury-free free-floating level switch designed for industrial liquid-level sensing in tanks, wells, and reservoirs. As part of the FSW family, it provides dual-level sensing with an inverter microswitch housed in a polypropylene cover and an SPDT output rated for 10 A at 250 VAC (resistive). The wetted materials are polypropylene housing, EPDM gland, and PVC cable, and the unit is engineered for liquids and slurries with a temperature limit of 60°C (140°F) and a pressure limit of 60 psi (4 bar). Its enclosure is rated NEMA 6 and IP68, and the device mounts vertically with a cable length of 6 m (19.5 ft), weighing 1.2 kg (2.6 lb) for the FSW-6 variant. The FSW-6 is CE-marked, reflecting conformity with European safety standards. In service, it’s designed to minimize fouling as the float and balance weight resist accumulation of impurities, making it suitable for applications such as tank filling and draining, well and reservoir water management, and wastewater handling where reliable, low-maintenance level indication is critical.
