Industrial AMC-F5 NEMA 4X Enclosed Thermostat

Raychem AMC-F5 NEMA 4X enclosed thermostat is a fixed-setpoint freeze-protection thermostat for pipe heat-tracing systems in non-hazardous locations. Housed in a UV-resistant thermoplastic enclosure with a NEMA 4X rating, it uses a fixed set point of 40°F (4.4°C) and supports ambient or line sensing to trigger control. It can operate a single heat-tracing circuit directly or switch multiple circuits via a contactor. The unit provides a 22 A rating at 125/250/480 VAC with a SPST switch and accepts 120–480 VAC supply. A 3/4" (19 mm) through-hole enables straightforward mounting, and the body measures approximately 5.2 in high by 3.2 in wide by 2.5 in deep. The sensing bulb is silicone-filled and connected to the enclosure by a 2.5 ft (0.8 m) capillary, with wiring consisting of two 14 AWG pigtails and a ground screw. This AMC-F5 model is designed to protect piping by maintaining a stable temperature to prevent freeze damage in industrial heating installations, delivering reliable, single-point control within a rugged, enclosure-rated package.
