Two Asahi/America AV low-torque EPDM packing gaskets, 4-inch nominal size, are designed for ANSI B16.5 Class 150 flanged connections and sold as a 2-pack. The EPDM AV gaskets deliver bubble-tight sealing at reduced bolt torque, minimizing gasket stress and extending service life for flanged valve and piping joints. They are full-face gaskets featuring two raised convex rings concentric to the center opening, conforming to ANSI B16.5 full-face dimensions for 4" flanges with an eight-bolt pattern and a bolt-circle diameter of about 7.5 inches (approximately 190 mm). AV gaskets are specified as low-torque and available in EPDM, PVDF-bonded EPDM, or PTFE-bonded EPDM variants, allowing selection by chemical compatibility; typical EPDM service for AV gaskets spans a broad temperature range from -40°C to 90°C depending on bonding and application.
