Industrial AV6010 Barcode Scanner Camera Module

AccuVision AV6010 Long-Range Camera System’s Camera Module is an integrated barcode scanner that combines a camera head, LED illumination, and a Distributed Computing Module (DCM) into a single integrated unit for high-speed 1D/2D barcode reading and OCR on conveyor lines. The illumination module is available in 30-inch or 42-inch sizes, flooding the scanning area with light as packages pass by. The camera head captures image data and transmits it to the DCM for decoding; decoded results are sent to a host device via Ethernet and/or serial interfaces. Optional components include the AV6010 RangeFinder (with power supply), a tachometer, and VisionCapture / Image Depot Server for image capture and storage. The system supports single-camera configurations, multi-camera arrays, and scanning tunnels, including side-by-side package detection via software options. It runs an embedded real-time Linux operating system and offers an Auto Configuration Wizard to simplify commissioning, reducing setup time for complex conveyor installations.
