Description:
IMFEC12 is ABB Bailey’s 15-channel analog input module for the INFI 90 OPEN control system, designed to convert a wide range of field sensor signals into digital data for real-time process control. It accepts conventional transmitters (BC, EQ, PT) and supports 4-20 mA current signals as well as multiple voltage ranges (1-5 VDC, 0-1 VDC, 0-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC, and -10 to +10 VDC), enabling direct connection to temperature, pressure, and flow sensors. Powered from 24 V DC and consuming about 10 W, IMFEC12 provides per-channel isolation, a 24-bit ADC with 0.1% accuracy, and up to 15 analog inputs read by ABB’s INFI 90 OPEN/NET 90 distributed control system. Designed to integrate with MFP/MFC controllers, IMFEC12 is a core I/O module for Bailey control architectures, delivering precise, scalable data acquisition for industrial processes. Common applications include monitoring process variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow across chemical processing, power generation, and manufacturing environments, where reliable multi-channel analog input is critical for control and optimization.
