Industrial BS3-RC Through Beam Sensor Receiver

The STI BS3-RC Through Beam Sensor Receiver is the receiver unit in STI’s BeamSafe III through‑beam safety light curtain, designed to pair with the BS3-XC transmitter and the BS3-C controller to guard machine access points. It features a 270° adjustable mounting and a quick‑disconnect cable fitting for rapid installation, and it operates from 10–30 VDC. The receiver uses infrared light at 880 nm and supports sensing over a range of up to 15 meters, detecting beam interruptions and signaling the controller accordingly. In typical BS3 installations, the RC works with the XC transmitter and the BS3-C controller to provide safety feedback for machine guarding around doors, gates, and other access points in industrial equipment.
