The Industrial BT896-1210 Battery Charger is a DIN rail–mounted automatic generator battery charger that continuously maintains 12 VDC starter batteries used in standby and prime power generator systems. With a 10 A output, it automatically regulates charging current and voltage to preserve battery health while preventing overcharging and sulfation, pursuing long-term float charging in industrial environments. It accepts a 160–270 VAC input at 50/60 Hz and is designed for permanent installation in generator control panels, transfer switch enclosures, and other industrial power systems, with DIN rail mounting for easy panel integration. Protection features include overcharge protection, short circuit protection, and reverse polarity protection depending on revision, and it is compatible with diesel and gas generators, ATS panels, and generator control systems.
