Industrial CMCP585-200-03-LF Proximity Sensor

STI’s CMCP585-200-03-LF is an industrial eccentricity transmitter designed for proximity-probe based shaft monitoring. It accepts a proximity probe input (200 mV per mil sensitivity) and converts the reading into a 4–20 mA process signal that represents overall eccentricity, while also powering the connected transducer. Available as a transmitter-only device or a monitor with an alarm module, it provides two buffered outputs in addition to the primary 4–20 mA output and offers five selectable ranges to fit different measurement scales. The unit mounts on a DIN rail for easy panel integration and includes adjustable alarms with OK/Alert/Danger relay contacts to convey health and fault status. Certifications include CSA and UL Class 1 Division 2 approval as well as CE compliance, reflecting suitability for industrial environments requiring rigorous safety standards. Part of STI’s CMCP500 series, the CMCP585 can be integrated with existing vibration-monitoring architectures by feeding the 4–20 mA signal into a PLC or DCS and by supplying power to the associated transducer, enabling compact, low-cost monitoring of shaft eccentricity in rotating equipment.
